Missouri S&T’s arts, languages, and philosophy department will present a jazz ensemble concert on Friday, Oct. 25.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located at the corner of 10th and Main streets on the Missouri S&T campus. The jazz ensemble will perform pieces by artists including Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, Dizzy Gillespie and Gordon Goodwin. The ensemble is directed by Matthew Sokeland, jazz lecturer at Missouri S&T.
Tickets are $5 for the public and free to youth ages 18 and under and Missouri S&T students with a valid ID. Tickets can be purchased at the Leach Theatre box office starting one hour before the performance. Tickets can also be purchased online at leachtheatre.mst.edu or by calling 573-341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online.
