India Association at Missouri S&T to host Diwali celebration Nov. 5
The India Association at Missouri S&T will host a Diwali Festival of Lights celebration for the campus and community Sunday, Nov. 5.
The Festival of Lights event will begin with a cultural show from 3:30 to 6 p.m. in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located on the Missouri S&T campus. The show will feature dance and musical performances by Missouri S&T students.
Following the cultural show, there will be a fireworks display at 6:20 p.m. in front of the Havener Center. Dinner will be served 6-8 p.m. in the St. Pat’s Ballroom, located on the second floor of the Havener Center.
Tickets for the event are $15, and can be purchased from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday until Nov. 5 in the Havener Center atrium and outside the Curtis Laws Wilson Library on the Missouri S&T campus. The Leach Theatre box office will also have tickets available; box office hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
