Ten speakers will present their ideas on the theme of “Solve for X” at Missouri University of Science and Technology’s TEDx event Thursday, Oct. 26.
The event will begin with a reception at 5 p.m. in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located at 400 W. 10th St. in Rolla. Complimentary refreshments will be provided. Tickets are $15 for the public and $10 for Missouri S&T students. Tickets are available online at tedxmst.com, by phone at 573-341-4219 or at the Leach Theatre box office in Castleman Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to “Ideas Worth Spreading” that shares media and supports educational initiatives. All presentations are recorded and shared though TEDx media.
