Missouri S&T’s 2023 Earth Day celebration will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 21, at the Carney Puck and Plaza, a campus landmark located in front of Toomey Hall.
Hosted by the ECO Miners student organization, the event will include a tie-dye booth, a free plant giveaway, yard games, and activities hosted by student and community organizations. Participating community organizations include the American Chemical Society, Citizens’ Climate Education, City of Rolla Environmental Services, Common Grounds Community Garden, the Democratic Club of Phelps County, the Meramec Hills Chapter of Missouri Master Naturalists, and the Ozark Rivers Solid Waste Management District.
