Missouri S&T theater students to perform on Black Box stage

Missouri S&T students will perform “Exit, Pursued by a Bear,” the revenge comedy by Lauren Gunderson, in February.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21; Friday, Feb. 22; and Saturday, Feb. 23. A matinee performance will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24. All performances will take place in the Black Box Theatre in Room 143 Castleman Hall, located at the corner of 10th and Main streets in Rolla.

The dark comedy focuses on Nan, who wants to teach her abusive husband Kyle a lesson. With the help of her gay best friend and a local stripper, she plans an exit to the marriage. The show is for mature audiences and patrons are encouraged to refrain from bringing young children.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door prior to the performances. For more information about the performances, contact the Missouri S&T arts, languages and philosophy department at 341-4185.
