Missouri students who plan to enroll at Missouri S&T next fall as freshmen or transfer students may do so without paying the university’s $50 application fee – as long as they apply by Dec. 1, 2018.
Removing the application fee will eliminate one barrier to college for economically challenged students, says Dr. Christopher G. Maples, Missouri S&T’s interim chancellor.
“We need to do all we can to ensure we make a Missouri S&T education as accessible as possible for all students, and waiving our application fee is one way of removing a barrier,” Maples says.
The fee waiver is available to Missouri residents who are interested in enrolling at Missouri S&T next fall as freshmen or transfer students. The deadline to apply without paying a fee is Dec. 1. That date is also the priority scholarship application deadline for students who will be freshmen next fall.
