Missouri S&T to offer QuickBooks classes this spring

Business people who want to learn QuickBooks have several opportunities to take a class this spring through a program offered by the Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) at Missouri S&T, Missouri Chamber Foundation and Rolla Technical Institute (RTI). Classes are taught by a certified Quick Books instructor.

All classes will be held at RTI, 1304 E, 10th St., in Rolla, Missouri. Each class will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Cost is $79 per class. Registration and prepayment are required. Register online at rollaclasses.com, by phone at 573-458-0150 or in person at RTI.

The following courses are offered this spring:

  • Introduction to QuickBooks (online version), Tuesday, March 6 – Hands-on introduction to QuickBooks Online for businesses using the online version of QuickBooks. Bring your questions. Deadline to register is Friday, March 2.
  • Introduction to QuickBooks (desktop version), Tuesday, March 20 – Hands-on introduction to QuickBooks (desktop version) for businesses with little or no experience with QuickBooks. Deadline to register is Friday, March 16.
  • Advanced QuickBooks (desktop version), Tuesday, April 10 – Hands-on workshop to learn advanced topics about QuickBooks (desktop version). This class is for businesses with experience using QuickBooks. Learn how to get useable information out of your QuickBooks data. Deadline to register is Friday, April 6.

Missouri S&T’s SBTDC provides business counseling and assistance to aspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses. Most services are provided at no cost to the client. It is a University of Missouri Extension partner and part of the Missouri SBTDC statewide network, which is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
