See ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ at Leach Theatre

Leach Theatre’s Family Film Day will include screenings of a 1966 Dr. Seuss cartoon, snacks, face painting and balloon animals to get families in the spirit for the holiday season.

“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” will be shown on a large screen throughout the day on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Leach Theatre, located in Castleman Hall at the corner of 10th and Main streets in Rolla. Screenings will take place every half-hour beginning at 11 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m.

Children will have an opportunity to shop for gifts for family and friends at Santa’s Workshop and to see Santa during the 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. window.

Tickets are $2 and will be available for purchase at the Leach Theatre Box Office beginning at 10 a.m. the day of the show. Lunch, including a main dish, side and drink, will be available for purchase for $3 in the lobby of Leach Theatre throughout the screening times.
