Missouri S&T to offer QuickBooks classes this fall

Business people who want to learn QuickBooks have several opportunities to take a class this fall through a program offered by the Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) at Missouri University of Science and Technology, the Missouri Chamber Foundation and Rolla Technical Institute (RTI). Classes are taught by a certified QuickBooks instructor.

All classes will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at RTI, 1304 E. 10th St., in Rolla. Cost for each class is $79. Registration and prepayment is required. Register online at www.rollaclasses.com, by phone at 573-458-0150 or in-person at RTI, 1304 E 10th St. in Rolla.

The following courses will be offered.

  • Introduction to QuickBooks (Desktop Version), Tuesday, Sept. 19 — Hands-on introduction to QuickBooks (Desktop Version) for businesses with little or no experience with QuickBooks. Deadline to register is Friday, Sept. 15
  • Introduction to QuickBooks (Online Version), Wednesday, Oct. 18 — Hands-on introduction to QuickBooks Online for businesses using the online version of QuickBooks. Bring your questions. Deadline to register is Monday, Oct. 16
  • Introduction to QuickBooks (Desktop Version) – Thursday, Oct. 19 — Hands-on introduction to QuickBooks (Desktop Version) for businesses with little or no experience with QuickBooks. Deadline to register is Tuesday, Oct. 17.
  • Advanced QuickBooks (Desktop Version), Tuesday, Nov. 14 — Hands-on workshop to learn advanced topics about QuickBooks (Desktop Version). This class is for businesses with experience using QuickBooks. Learn how to get useable information out of your QuickBooks data. Deadline to register is Friday, Nov. 10.

Missouri S&T’s SBTDC provides business counseling and assistance to aspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses. Most services are provided at no cost to the client. It is a University of Missouri Extension partner and part of the Missouri SBTDC statewide network, which is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
