Mollenkamp named assistant vice chancellor for business services at Missouri S&T

John Mollenkamp, acting director of the Missouri Department of Revenue, has been named assistant vice chancellor for business services. He will begin his duties at Missouri S&T on Monday, Jan. 9. Mollenkamp replaces Randy Stoll, who recently retired.

Mollenkamp will report to Walt Branson, vice chancellor for Finance and Administration. He will direct the department of business services and provide direction to the manager of campus printing and mail operations.

A native of Rolla, Mollenkamp has worked at the Missouri Department of Revenue since 2011. He also has worked as a legal writing professor at Cornell Law School and the University of Missouri School of Law. He has been a practicing attorney in the Missouri Attorney General’s office and St. Charles County Counselor’s office, and an associate with Blanchard, Robertson, Mitchell & Carter P.C., and at the Supreme Court of Missouri.

Mollenkamp has been licensed to practice law since 1992. He earned a juris doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1992 and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1989. He is a 1985 graduate of Rolla High School.
