Missouri S&T ROTC groups to host Sept. 11 memorial

Members of Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Air Force and Army ROTCs will host a public ceremony for the 15-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The ceremony will be held at noon Friday, Sept. 9, in front of Harris Hall on the Missouri S&T campus. Events will include a wreath-laying ceremony and flag retirement to recall the events of that day, honor the memory of those who gave their lives in service and remember the coming together of the country in the days that followed the attacks.
Attendees can park in the Havener Center visitor parking lot, located at the corner of North State and 12th streets in Rolla. Harris Hall is the building directly east of the Havener Center, near the northernmost end of North State Street.
