Campus notified of student death

Missouri S&T student Curt Marzolf died Saturday morning (Dec. 12, 2015) at his off-campus residence.
The death was reported at about 6 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, to the Rolla Police Department, which is investigating the matter.
“On behalf of our entire university family, I extend my deepest sympathies to Curt’s family, loved ones and friends,” Missouri S&T Chancellor Cheryl B. Schrader said. “Our hearts go out to all who knew and loved him.”
Marzolf was a senior majoring in mining engineering.
Members of Missouri S&T’s counseling staff are available to provide counseling services for students, faculty and staff affected by the death. Students who wish to seek counseling services may contact the office of counseling, disability support and student wellness at 204 Norwood Hall on campus or by emailing counsel@mst.edu.
