Missouri University of Science and Technology’s largest career fair in the university’s history will feature over 315 companies that registered to attend the 2015 Fall Career Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Although Missouri S&T hosts a career fair in the fall and in the spring, employers visit S&T to interview students year-round. This semester, 245 rooms have been reserved for on-campus interviews. A total of 463 different employers are recruiting from Missouri S&T this fall, up 12 percent from last year.
This school year, 1,140 jobs have already been posted online by Missouri S&T career opportunities and employer relations (COER). Approximately 2,700 students looking for employment are registered with COER.
The average starting salary for undergraduates with Missouri S&T degrees is over $62,000. The average starting salary for graduate students is $70,000.
The career fair is open to Missouri S&T students and alumni between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22. Faculty and staff are allowed to attend 8-9 a.m. or 2-3 p.m. For more information, contact COER at Missouri S&T at 573-341-6170 or career@mst.edu.
