S&T vocal groups to perform April 6

Three Missouri University of Science and Technology choral groups will join the Rolla Men of Song in a free concert in Rolla on April 6.
The concert will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at the First Presbyterian Church of Rolla, 919 E. 10th St. It will feature performances by the Missouri S&T Chamber Choir and University Choir, as well as the newly formed Men’s Chorus.
“We have invited the Rolla Men of Song to join us,” says Lorie Francis, choir conductor and lecturer in the arts, languages, and philosophy department at Missouri S&T. “We will be performing ‘The Awakening’ by Joseph Martin as a combined Men’s Chorus.”
Other pieces to be performed during the concert include “Remember” by Stephen Chatman and “Musica!” by Brant Adams, among others.
