Enrollment at Missouri University of Science and Technology is up 7.7 percent over last spring, according to official fourth-week enrollment figures released today.
“Our total enrollment this spring is 7,700 students,” says Deanne Jackson, Missouri S&T registrar. “This is the highest spring enrollment in our school’s history.”
“The growth we saw last fall, together with new incoming transfer and graduate students, has led to this increase,” says Laura Stoll, vice provost and dean for enrollment management. “We are also seeing a nice rise in our freshman retention rate from fall to spring.”
The spring semester at Missouri S&T began Tuesday, Jan. 21.
