Missouri University of Science and Technology awarded Chancellor’s Scholarships to 16 high school seniors for the 2014-2015 academic year.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must be Missouri residents, have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.75 or rank in the upper 10 percent of their high school graduation class and have ACT composite scores of 31 or better. The students also must complete a 750-word essay.
The Chancellor’s Scholarship is for $12,000 and is renewable annually for up to eight semesters, as long as the student maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or better.
The 2014-2015 Chancellor’s Scholarship recipients are:
— Michael Filips, a senior at Maryville R-11 High School from Maryville, Mo.
— Joseph Galbraith, a senior at Mother of Divine Grace School from Holts Summit, Mo.
— Chase Herman, a senior at Nixa R-11 High School from Nixa, Mo.
— Alexandra Ives, a senior at Kirkwood High School from St. Louis
— Jacob Jacob, a senior at Ladue Horton Watkins High School from St. Louis
— Kelly Jacobs, a senior a Ladue Horton Watkins High School from Frontenac, Mo.
— Elizabeth Matejka, a senior at St. Charles West High School from St. Charles, Mo.
— David McKnight, a senior at Parkway West High School from St. Louis
— Evan Musterman, a senior at Troy Buchanan High School from Troy, Mo.
— Benjamin Rackers, a senior at Holt High School from Foristell, Mo.
— Rachel Rogers, a senior a Westminster Christian Academy from Wildwood, Mo.
— Brenna Ryan, a senior at Parkway West High School from Chesterfield, Mo.
— Joseph Schantz, a senior at Christian High School from Lake Saint Louis, Mo.
— Skye Tackkett, a senior at Park Hill South High School from Kansas City, Mo.
