It is autumn in Rolla and also in Pixie Hollow. For the fairies, that means it is time to collect Pixie dust, but for area families it means “Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure,” the third film in the 2013-2014 Leach Theatre Family Film Series, is showing at Missouri University of Science and Technology. The film begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Leach Theatre in Missouri S&T’s Castleman Hall, 10thand Main streets in Rolla, Mo. Tickets are $3 each and will be available for purchase at the Leach Theatre Box Office at 10 a.m. the day of show.
“Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure,” the sequel to the 2008 film “Tinker Bell,” was released by Walt Disney Studios in 2009. The film follows Tinker Bell and her friend, Terence, as they try to harness the power of the mystical blue moonstone that will rejuvenate the pixie dust tree in time for the Blue Harvest Moon.
Lunch, including a main dish, side and drink, will be available for purchase for $3 in the lobby of Leach Theatre after the film. A special craft project will be available for $1. Other crafts and coloring sheets will be available for free.
