High school juniors and seniors can find out how engineers change the world at one of three week-long “Jackling Introduction to Engineering” camps that will be held this summer at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Students will learn how their math and science skills can impact the future and what tools they can use to bring about innovation through engineering. Campers will participate in hands-on activities and team design competitions while making new friends and experiencing campus life.
The “Jackling Introduction to Engineering” camp will be offered three times this summer. The sessions are June 9-13, June 23-27, and July 7-11. Each day, campers will attend events from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Registration fees range from $420 to $500 for each camp and cover meals, activities and supplies, with housing available to non-commuters. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from the S&T campus. Discounts are available for children of current university employees.
