The A World in Motion (AWIM) program was created by the Society of Automotive Engineers to bring fun science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education to K-12 students.
Students, faculty and staff from S&T’s Teacher Education Program and and Rolla High School students in the A+ program helped facilitate.
“AWIM offers fun projects that demonstrate scientific concepts like jet propulsion, friction, air resistance and design,” says Dr. Jana Neiss, director of the Teacher Education Program. “We had a great time with the kids.”
