Area groups are invited to enter the float competition in this year’s Celebration of Nations parade. The third annual Celebration of Nations will be held in downtown Rolla from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29. The event is sponsored by Missouri University of Science and Technology.

All parade entries must demonstrate traditional cultural representations or have an international theme. Prizes will be awarded on the day of the event. Application forms must be received by Sept. 7. This free family festival showcases the variety of cultures represented in the Rolla area. The event includes music, food, arts, crafts, a petting zoo, camel rides and more. Visit nations.mst.edu or the Celebration of Nation’s Facebook page for updates.
