Students at Missouri University of Science and Technology are preparing for the 104th St. Pat’s celebration in Rolla. The festivities will include a parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 17. This year’s theme is St. Pocalypse.
For 2012, the St. Pat’s schedule includes many events for students, alumni and the public.
Monday, March 5 – Wednesday, March 7:
— Snake Invasion all day on campus
Monday, March 12:
— Follies, noon, at “The Puck” on campus
Tuesday, March 13:
— Follies, noon, at The Puck
Wednesday, March 14:
— Pine Street Procession, 11:45 a.m., Rolla
— St. Pat’s arrival with the court and Follies, noon, at the band shell, 9th and Oak streets
Thursday, March 15:
— Gonzo Games, 11 a.m., The Painted Street, outside Havener Center
Friday, March 16:
— Gonzo Games, 11 a.m., The Painted Street, outside Havener Center
— Honorary Knights Banquet, 6 p.m., Havener Center
— Coronation and Knighting Ceremony, 9 p.m., Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets
Saturday, March 17
— Street Painters Breakfast, 6 a.m., private location
— Pine Street turns green, 7 a.m.
— Pre-Parade Party for alumni, families and guests, 8:30-11 a.m. Leach Theatre lobby and patio at Castleman Hall
— Parade on Pine Street, 11 a.m.
— Post-Parade Party, immediately following parade, Leach Theatre lobby and patio at Castleman Hall
— Grateful Board Concert, 1 p.m., at the band shell downtown
