Asphalt conference at Missouri S&T Dec. 6-7

The 54th annual Asphalt Conference will be held at Missouri University of Science and Technology Dec. 6-7. The conference will be held on campus in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center.


Among the topics to be covered in conference presentations are warm mix for streets and parking lots, porous asphalt in Missouri, liquid asphalt supply and pricing, surface leveling mixes, high float emulsions, shingle mix problems, new paving equipment controls, full depth reclamation, proper rolling, polyurethane deep injection, safety edge paving, new binder grade specifications, reflective cracking prevention, ride roughness measurement and Missouri Department of Transportation specification and research updates.

Organizers say the conference will be of interest to contractors, public agencies, consulting engineers, testing labs, aggregate producers, asphalt binder suppliers and technical equipment representatives. Conference participants will receive Personal Development Hours (PDH).
