The Missouri University of Science and Technology campus is closed today (Tuesday, Feb. 1) due to weather conditions. All classes for today have been canceled and Missouri S&T offices are closed. Students should notify their families of this announcement.

Due to the 24/7 nature of some campus operations, those employees considered “situationally critical” in accordance with University of Missouri policy (http://www.umsystem.edu/ums/departments/hr/manual/217.shtml) should report to work. Staff should check with their supervisors to determine if they are “situationally critical.”

For the benefit of Missouri S&T students, the Havener Center, Curtis Laws Wilson Library and Student Recreation Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. Student Health Services will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The university will announce plans for Wednesday by 5 p.m. today.

For more information and updates on how weather conditions will impact the campus, visit Missouri S&T’s “in case of emergency” website at http://ice.mst.edu.
