Missouri University of Science and Technology’s International Students Day will be held on Sunday, March 6, in the university’s Havener Center.
The largest international event held on campus, International Students Day showcases the different countries represented by Missouri S&T students. Last year more than 800 guests attended with 25 countries represented; this year is expected to be even larger.
Limited tickets for the dinner and cultural show are available on campus from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. outside the Curtis Laws Wilson Library or in the Havener Center atrium, Monday through Friday, Feb. 22-March 4, as tickets remain. Tickets are $7 for Missouri S&T students and $10 for all others. Cash or checks are accepted. Those unable to purchase tickets during these times may email intsclub@mst.edu to make other arrangements.
The day’s activities will begin at 3 p.m. in the Havener Center atrium with a display of cultural artifacts, clothing and more from around the world. The cultural show will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. in the St. Pat’s Ballroom, followed by an international dinner buffet from 6-8 p.m. in the food court.
