Bruce in the USA,” a note-perfect and visually accurate recreation of a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band concert, is coming to Leach Theatre on Friday, Jan. 28. The theater is offering a dinner and show deal that would be ideal as an early Valentine’s date-night for fans of the musician.

Patrons may purchase two tickets for “Bruce in the USA” and one $50 gift certificate to Matt’s Steakhouse for $75, a $110 value. This special offer is only available through the Leach Theatre Box Office, and those who plan to use the gift certificate the night of the show are asked to call ahead to reserve a table at the restaurant.

“Bruce in the USA” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla.

Tickets for the show are $30 for adults, $20 for youth and Missouri S&T faculty and staff, and $10 for S&T students. S&T students can charge tickets to their student accounts. Tickets are available online or from the Leach Theatre Box Office. Box office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 573-341-4219 for more information.

Matt Ryan has played Springsteen for more than 10 years, beginning with the Las Vegas “Legends In Concert” show. Based on that success, he created “Bruce in the USA” in 2004. Ryan is backed by a seven-piece band, including musicians portraying Clarence Clemons on saxophone and Steven Van Zandt on guitar and vocals. This high-energy musical experience may be as close as fans will get to seeing “The Boss” himself in concert.

Leach Theatre will offer discounted tickets through its “Back Row Club” one hour prior to the event, should tickets remain for the show. The seats in the last row of the theater will be sold for $10 each prior to the performance.

This Leach Special Event is sponsored in part by the Phelps County Regional Medical Center Medical Group.
