Enrollment up this spring at S&T

Enrollment for the first day of classes at Missouri University of Science and Techology is 6,447, a 4.3 percent increase from last year’s first day of enrollment, says Laura Stoll, Missouri S&T registrar. This is the ninth consecutive year of enrollment increases.
The spring semester at Missouri S&T began today, Monday, Jan. 10. Last spring, 6,182 students were enrolled on the first day of the spring semester. This year’s 4.3 percent increase represents a total of 265 additional students.
The university will continue to enroll students through the first weeks of the spring semester. More than 100 students are expected to enroll during the first weeks of the semester. Financial assistance is still available.
The official enrollment figures for the semester will be released after the fourth week of classes.
