Showcase your talents – signup for ‘Idol’ competition by Sept. 14

Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Celebration of Nations Committee is now accepting applications for the International Idol Competition that will be held in October. The competition is open to the public.
Talented individuals are encouraged to sign up by midnight on Tuesday, Sept. 14. The first round to select finalists will take place from 6-9 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 16 at Missouri S&T’s Havener Center. Finals will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Rolla Band Shell, during the Celebration of Nations event. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Singers, dancers and other talented individuals can register for the International Idol Competition online, or by contacting competition director Rebecca Holmes or event coordinator Stephane Menand.
