Missouri Concrete Conference to be held May 4-5 at S&T

Missouri University of Science and Technology will host the annual Missouri Concrete Conference on Tuesday, May 4, and Wednesday, May 5, in the Havener Center on campus. Registration is $130 per person.


Conference presentations will include lightweight mixtures, pumping mixtures, flowable fill, heavyweight mixtures, self-consolidating concrete, roller compacted concrete case histories, OSHA training, yield problems, materials problems, construction tolerances, design of slabs-on-ground, basis-of-strength acceptance, life-cycle costing, sustainability, American Society of Concrete Contractors hotline, tilt-up, city street concrete overlays, and Missouri Department of Transportation case histories, research and bridge deck advances.

Certificates to document Personal Development Hours will be provided.

Organizers say the conference will be of interest to contractors; public agencies; consulting engineers; testing labs; aggregate producers; ready mix, cement and admixture suppliers; and equipment technical representatives.
