The Missouri S&T University and Community Symphony Orchestra is looking for musicians to join its ranks. Those interested are invited to drop by the orchestra’s next meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, in Castleman Hall.

Area adults who play stringed instruments, in particular violists, are invited to join without an audition. High school-age string players are invited to audition for membership. Also invited to audition are percussionists and wind players, in particular bassoonists. Practice is from 7-9 p.m. on Mondays.

This year’s selections will include Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Capriccio Espagnol” and Mendelssohn’s “5th Symphony.”
