Missouri S&T will test its air whistle alarm and mass emergency notification systems at 12:05 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3.

The systems are part of an ongoing plan to improve Missouri S&T campus security. The air whistle alarm will be used as an outside emergency notification in conjunction with the university’s mass emergency notification system, which notifies registered campus users via cell phone, text message or email. Both systems will be activated only in the case of a critical incident that requires immediate notification of the campus.

More information about Missouri S&T’s emergency procedures is available online on the campus in case of emergency (ICE) website at ice.mst.edu. For more information about the air whistle alert system, contact S&T Police at 341-4300 or email police@mst.edu.
