Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Small Business Technology Development Center is offering a two-part class on how to sell items on eBay from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, July 14, and Thursday, July 16, in Room 103 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library.

The class is geared toward individuals who want to start a part-time business at home. If you have a product that will have the world beating a path to your virtual door, be sure to attend. But the class is also for those who just want to clear out clutter or help Aunt Martha sell her porcelain collection.

Millions of people use eBay and the convenience of the Internet as a means to buy and sell items from home.

The hands-on workshop at Missouri S&T includes information on how to register as a seller on eBay, open a PayPal account, research potential products, create and monitor listings, improve existing listings, set pricing and complete transactions. Attendees will open an account with Pay Pal and learn how to post two items for sale; participants should bring photos of items on a flash drive.

The fee for the class is $80. For more information, call 573-341-4562 or 573-729-8263. Registration information is available at http://www.missouribusiness.net/cgi-bin/calendar/ . Click on the class.
