The Office of Graduate Studies at Missouri University of Science and Technology will host a Graduate Fair from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in the Atrium of the Havener Center on the Missouri S&T campus.
The Graduate Fair promotes awareness of graduate education opportunities at Missouri S&T for our own undergraduate students as well as to other potential Missouri graduate students.
The event coincides with Graduate Education Week at Missouri S&T, which will feature a poster session on April 13 and 14 to showcase research performed by current S&T graduate students.
“According to the U.S. Department of Education, nearly 35 percent of working professionals go on to complete a master’s degree at some point in their career,” says Dr. Venkat Allada, vice provost for graduate studies at Missouri S&T. “This fact clearly attests to the value of an advanced degree. There is no better time to earn an advanced degree and improve your employability skills than during this economic downturn phase.”
