Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony to perform

The Missouri S&T Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony will perform their first concert of the spring semester at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, in Leach Theater of Castleman Hall.


Flute&Notes-Horizontal.jpgTickets are $3 for the general public and free for Missouri S&T students. Tickets are available between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour before the performance in the Leach Theatre Box Office, located in the lobby of Castleman Hall.

The Symphonic Band will play “The Volunteers,” by John Philip Sousa; “O Magnum Mysterium,” by Morten Lauridsen, transcribed by H. Robert Reynolds; and “Winter Dances,” by Fergal Carroll.

The Wind Symphony will perform “Down East Fanfare,” by Jack Stamp, “Tribute,” by Travis Cross, and “Bulgarian Dances,” by Franco Cesarini.
