Engineers Week banquet to be held at Fort Leonard Wood

National Engineers Week is Feb. 15-21, and engineers, engineering students and those interested in the field and its affect on society are invited to celebrate the profession at the Engineers Week Annual Banquet.
The banquet will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Fort Leonard Wood’s Pershing Community Club on Kirby Street in St. Robert. Reservations are required by Tuesday, Feb. 17, to Krista Karstensen at kkarstensen@usgs.gov or 573-308-3686. The dinner is $20 and is payable at the door.
The banquet is sponsored by Missouri S&T, the Fort Leonard Wood Post of the Society of American Military Engineers and the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers.
The National Society of Professional Engineers first celebrated Engineers Week in 1951 to highlight the continuing progress and contributions being made in the profession.
