Missouri S&T’s 2008 Institutional Self Study Report, prepared as part of the university’s re-accreditation process, is now available on-line at accreditation.mst.edu.

The Missouri S&T Accreditation Self-Study Committee, which wrote the report as part of the university’s re-accreditation process, will hold open forums for comment on the report in January. Representatives from the accreditation agency, the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), will visit campus Feb. 23-25.

For the past two years, Missouri S&T has engaged in a process of self-study to prepare for re-accreditation.

An open forum for students will be held from noon-1 p.m. Jan. 28 in Room 125 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Building. An open forum for faculty and staff will be held from noon-1 p.m. Jan. 30 in the Havener Center (room location to be announced).

Missouri S&T will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit Feb. 23-25, 2009, by a team of reviewers and consultants representing the commission. The university received re-accreditation for 10 years after its last review in 1998.

If you have comments on the self study document, please email them directly to Dr. Harvest Collier, vice provost of undergraduate studies and chair of the self-study committee, at hcollier@mst.edu.
