Wednesday, Oct. 22, is Unity Day at Missouri University of Science and Technology. This year’s theme is “Turn Down Your Stereotypes: Busting Common Myths.”
Unity Day events will take place
from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Havener Center atrium. Ethnic foods and student
performances consisting of music, dance and poetry will showcase the rich
diversity on campus. Booths, speakers, and an interactive game will address
topics on culture, gender, ethnicity, faith, orientation, abilities and health.
Game participants receive a T-shirt and entry into a prize raffle.
Unity Day is sponsored by the
S&T department of student life, the office of leadership and cultural
