Friday is Garmin Day at Missouri S&T

Friday, Sept 12, is Garmin Day at Missouri S&T. One of the largest
employers of Missouri S&T graduates, Garmin designs, manufactures and
markets navigation and communication equipment for the aviation industry and
consumer markets.
The event at Missouri S&T will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday,
Sept. 12, in front of Toomey Hall. Two Garmin GPS units will be given away to
students at 11 a.m. and at 2 p.m. There will be food and equipment
demonstrations.
Representatives from Garmin will be on hand to meet with students and take
resumes. Electrical and computer engineering majors are most sought after. For
