Missouri S&T will present four professional productions for the 2008-09
season of the Leach Theatre Family Series. All events will be held in Leach
Theatre of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla, Mo. The Leach Family
Series is presented by the Missouri S&T student affairs department.

The 2008-09 Leach Family Series includes:

"Mammoth Follies,” presented by Hudson Vagabond Puppets, 1 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 8. Explore the wonders of evolution in an old-fashioned revue
of original songs, witty jokes, and earth-smashing dances performed by giant
dinosaur puppets. Tickets are $3.50 each.

The Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats, 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9. Enjoy
dazzling acrobatic displays, feats of daring and balance, explosive Kung Fu,
brilliant costumes, and even a touch of Chinese comedy. Tickets are $15 for
adults and $10 for youths age 18 and younger.

Spencers Theatre of Illusion, 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2009. For more
than a decade, Kevin and Cindy Spencer have entertained audiences throughout
the United States and around the world with one of the most successful touring
illusion shows in the nation. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youths age
18 and younger. This event is sponsored in part by Phelps County Bank.

“Dr. Doolittle,” presented by SignStage on Tour, 7 p.m. Friday, April
17, 2009. Dr. Doolittle can talk to the animals, but can he cure the monkey
kingdom’s epidemic in time? SignStage on Tour tells this story in a ASL/English
performance with each line both spoken and signed using American Sign Language.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for youths age 18 and younger.

All Leach Theatre Family Series events are supported in part by the Missouri
Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Mid-America Arts
Alliance.

Tickets are available at the Leach Theatre Box Office and may be purchased
with a credit card by phone at 573-341-4219. All sales are final; however,
tickets may be returned 24 hours prior to a performance for a tax deductible
contribution to the theater.

The Leach Family Series offers a $1 discount each for purchases of four or
more tickets to any of the four performances.
