U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee,
will hold a town hall meeting at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, on the campus of
Missouri University of Science and Technology.
The event will be held in the Student Recreation Center addition to the Gale
Bullman Multi-Purpose Building on 10th Street west of U.S. Highway 63. Entrance
to the event will be on the west side of the Student Recreation Center. Doors
open at 1 p.m.
Admission is free, but tickets are required. Tickets will be available from
4-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, at Phelps County Democratic Campaign Headquarters
at 905 Pine St. in Rolla. For more information, call 573-426-4258.
Obama’s campaign organization, Obama for America, is leasing the Missouri
S&T facility for the event.
