Rolla Earth Day 2008 is April 22

Tuesday, April 22, is Earth Day in Rolla. Earth Day activities will be held
from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Havener Center on the campus of Missouri
University of Science and Technology. This year’s theme is “Think globally, act
locally.”
Rolla Earth Day 2008 will feature exhibits, live music and door prizes.
Representatives from the St. Louis Science Center will engage children in
hands-on activities. Free trees will also be given out as long as they last.
Activities will be held inside and outside the Havener Center, rain or
shine.
Earth Day T-shirts are available for $10 or $12, depending on the size. For
