The Missouri University of Science and Technology Orchestra will host a
concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 18, in Leach Theatre of Missouri S&T’s
Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. The performance is free for all
students with a valid student I.D. and youths under the age of 18. Tickets are
$3 for the general public and are available at the door and at the Leach
Theatre Box Office.
The Missouri S&T Chamber Orchestra will perform “Suite in A Minor”
composed by Georg Philipp Telemann. The performance will feature Rachel
Klapper, a junior in biochemical engineering from Murray, Ky.
The Symphony Orchestra will perform “La Fedelta Premiata” composed by Joseph
Haydn, “Concert Suite” from “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”
composed by Nicholas Hooper and John Williams and arranged by Victor Lopez,
“Irving Berlin – A Symphonic Portrait” arranged by Hawley Ades, and “The
Planets” composed by Gustav Holst.
