Statement from Chancellor Carney on the shootings at Northern Illinois

Missouri S&T Chancellor John F. Carney III has issued the following
condolences for the families and loved ones of the victims of the Northern
Illinois University shooting.
"The Missouri S&T family is deeply saddened by the horrific event
that took place on the Northern Illinois University campus on Thursday,"
Carney said. "We extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to the families
and friends of the victims, as well as to the university’s students, faculty,
staff and alumni as they cope with this tragedy and begin to heal and
rebuild."
