An opening reception for “Two Photographers,” an exhibition by Fred Goss and
Joshua Hoffman, will be held from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb.5, in the lobby of
Castleman Hall on campus of Missouri University of Science and Technology.

The reception is free and open to the public. The exhibition is sponsored by
the Missouri S&T Campus Art Committee.

Goss says he often pays attention to the ways the world reveals how it is
put together and taken back apart. “I’m drawn to places where wind and water
and sun have worked through time to reveal structure,” he explains.

Hoffman says he explores any avenue in photography that he’s drawn to, which
ranges from digital capture and manipulation to medium-format film and darkroom
techniques. “Instead of focusing on one main style or project, I choose to
explore very different techniques in a quest for my own distinct style,” he
says.

The “Two Photographers” exhibition will remain on display in the Leach
Theatre lobby of Castleman Hall through May. For more information about the
