The University of Missouri-Rolla Campus Performing Arts Series will present
A Viennese Christmas at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 in Leach Theatre of
Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. Tickets for the performance are
on sale now and are $28 for adults and $18 for youth.
A Viennese Christmas captures the spirit of America’s first touring
pops orchestra with performances by the New Sigmund Romberg Orchestra. Sigmund
Romberg (1887-1951) was a tireless composer and is best known for his works
“Blossom Time", “The Desert Song", “Up in Central Park" and “My
Romance". Join the orchestra on Dec. 7 for a stirring performance of
holiday classics.
This performance is supported in part by the Maxwell C. Weiner Endowment for
the Performing Arts.
The next performance of the UMR Campus Performing Arts Series will be “The
Five Browns" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008. Tickets for “The Five
Browns" are $38 for adults and $26 for youth. “The Five Browns" is
supported in part by the James and Vera Olson Fund for the Arts.
