The Family Film Series at the University of Missouri-Rolla will be offering
a screening of the DreamWorks SKG animated film Madagascar. The film will be
shown at 11 a.m. Saturday Nov. 17, in Leach Theatre of UMR’s Castleman Hall,
10th and Main Streets in Rolla.

At New York’s Central Park Zoo, a lion (voiced by Ben Stiller), a zebra
(voiced by Chris Rock), a giraffe (voiced by David Schwimmer), and a hippo
(voiced by Jada Pinkett Smith) are best friends and stars of the show. But when
one of the animals goes missing from their cage, the other three break free to
look for him, only to find themselves reunited … on a ship en route to
Africa. When their vessel is hijacked, however, the friends, who have all been
raised in captivity, learn first-hand what life can be like in the wild.

The following films remain in the 2007-2008 Family Film Series season:

— Cinderella — Jan. 19, 2008

— Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (25th Anniversary) — Feb. 9,
