Veterans Day ceremony to be held at UMR football field

The University of Missouri-Rolla will host a
Veterans Day program at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at Allgood-Bailey Stadium on
10th Street in Rolla. The event is sponsored by UMR Air Force ROTC Detachment
442 and the UMR Army ROTC Stonehenge
Battalion.
The guest speaker for the Veterans Day program
will be retired Col. Joseph Rapone. The program will include a wreath-laying
ceremony, a 21-gun salute, a “pass in review" parade and
refreshments.
In the event of rain, the program will be held
at the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building just east of the football stadium.
