The University of Missouri-Rolla will host the 50th annual Asphalt
Conference Nov. 27-28.
The conference should be of interest to contractors, public agencies,
consulting engineers, testing labs, aggregate producers, asphalt-binder
suppliers and equipment technical representatives. Registration fee is $115.
Certificates to document professional development hours (PDH credits) will be
provided.
Presentation topics include subgrade, base and HMA construction, triggers
for maintenance options, utility cuts and patching, warm mix, SMA, shingles and
RAP, the effects of production on performance, mix selection for cities, joint
bumps and Missouri Department of Transportation specification and research
updates.
The conference will also include 50th anniversary topics like the changes
over the past 50 years in mix design, construction, plants, equipment, binders,
emulsions, cutbacks and specifications.
