UMR students nominated for Homecoming King

University of Missouri-Rolla student
organizations have nominated 10 students to compete for the title of 2007
Homecoming
King.         

The winner is chosen after interviews and a
campuswide election held the week prior to Homecoming, which is on the weekend
of Oct. 19-21.         

The king and queen, and the runners-up, will
be announced during halftime ceremonies of UMR’s Homecoming football game on
Saturday, Oct. 20. The game, which features UMR and Central State (Ohio),
starts at 1
p.m.         

The king candidates
are:         

— Trevor Bollmann, a junior in geology and
geophysics from Ava, Ill., nominated by Beta Sigma Psi

— Patrick Courtney, a junior in biological
sciences from Lansing, Kan., nominated by Quadrangle Hall
Association

— Will Kirby, a senior in architectural
engineering from Elkhorn, Neb., nominated by Pi Kappa Alpha

— Craig Richardson, a junior in history from
Sullivan, Mo., nominated by Residence Hall Association

— Andrew Ronchetto, a junior in engineering
management from Chesterfield, Mo., nominated by Student Council

— Daniel Ryan, a junior in engineering
management from Springfield, Ill., nominated by Chi Omega

— Jeremy Schueler, a senior in
interdisciplinary engineering from Rolla, nominated by Kappa Alpha

— Devin Simms, a senior in electrical
engineering from Doniphan, Mo., nominated by Zeta Tau Alpha

— Ryan Stringer, a junior in environmental
engineering from Exeter, Mo., nominated by Thomas Jefferson Hall
Association

— Kiley Summers, a senior in electrical
engineering from Rolla, nominated by Alpha Phi Alpha.
