Friday, Oct. 19

• Registration, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Havener Center atrium
• Displays of original artwork and photography by area artists, presented by
  Arts Rolla!, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Havener Center
• Oktoberfest course on home-brewing beer, Fred Ekstam, lecturer in English
  and technical communication, 1:30 p.m., Shamrock Room, Havner Center
• New art studio open house, 2-4 p.m., University Center-East, second
  floor
• Re-unveiling of Sigfried Reinhardt’s “The Eye,” a giant painting containing
  a collage of images, 3 p.m., University Center-East, second floor
• Legislative update for Missouri residents, Jim Snider, University of
  Missouri Government Relations, 3 p.m., Meramec and Gasconade rooms, Havener
  Center
• Molten metal casting demonstration, 3 p.m., McNutt Hall foundry
• Roll Out the Barrel, beer and soda garden for alumni, faculty and staff,
  drinks $1, music, 4-6 p.m., outside of the Havener Center
• Departmental receptions, 4-6 p.m., outside the Havener Center
• Calculator vs. slide rule competition, 4-6 p.m., Havener Center
