The Central Ozarks Section of the MSM-UMR Alumni Association and the Rolla Chapter of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers will hold its annual shrimp feed on Saturday, Aug. 25, at Lions’ Club Park on U.S. Highway 63 in Rolla. A social hour begins at 4 p.m. followed by dinner at 5 p.m.

The menu will include boiled shrimp (all you can eat) and side dishes. Drinks, including beer and wine, will be served. Filet mignon will also available for those who pre-register.

Tickets may be purchased for $25. In addition to dinner, those who purchase tickets get a free admission to the UMR football game on the night of the shrimp feed (courtesy of the UMR athletic department). The Miners will host Truman State at 6:30 p.m. at Allgood-Bailey Stadium.

Proceeds from the shrimp feed are used to support two annual scholarships for area high school students.
